DESCRIPTION:Calling all doubles and singles players Abilene’s October verified UTR is here!! \n– Singles will be played on Saturday (best 2/3 sets)\n– Doubles will be played on Sunday (8-game pro set) \n  \nWhat is a verified UTR rating? \n\nSome players have UTR Ratings that feature a blue checkmark. That means the player has a Verified UTR Rating.\nVerified UTR Rating is what college coaches\, tournament providers\, and tennis analysts look at for recruiting\, event entry\, team line-ups\, and player evaluations for high-level competition.\nOnly results from verified third-party event providers and tournament directors\, such as official high school matches or sanctioned adult leagues and tournaments\, count towards a player’s Verified UTR Rating.\nThose events are heavily vetted to ensure the integrity of a player’s Verified UTR Rating. Scores from non-verified events do not count towards Verified UTR Rating.\n\n  \nExtenuating Circumstances & Match Times \nConcerning extenuating situations for time-slots/match times\, it is the obligation of each player to ensure they are available for their matches as assigned by the Tournament Director (TD). Requests to have alternate match times will be reviewed and honored at the TD’s discretion based on the tournament schedule and other factors they deem appropriate. \n  \n– Parents & Players – \nWhat a great day for playing tennis. Each UTR player will receive 3 admission tickets\, free of charge\, to attend Adventure Cove on Saturday night from 7:30pm-9:30pm. You will receive your Adventure Cove tickets when you check in for the UTR. \n  \nExtenuating Circumstances & Match Times \nConcerning extenuating situations for time-slots/match times\, it is the obligation of each player to ensure they are available for their matches as assigned by the Tournament Director (TD). That means the player has a Verified UTR Rating.\nVerified UTR Rating is what college coaches\, tournament providers\, and tennis analysts look at for recruiting\, event entry\, team line-ups\, and player evaluations for high-level competition.\nOnly results from verified third-party event providers and tournament directors\, such as official high school matches or sanctioned adult leagues and tournaments\, count towards a player’s Verified UTR Rating.\nThose events are heavily vetted to ensure the integrity of a player’s Verified UTR Rating. Requests to have alternate match times will be reviewed and honored at the TD’s discretion based on the tournament schedule and other factors they deem appropriate. \n– Parents & Players – \nWhat a great day for playing tennis. DESCRIPTION:**THIS TOURNAMENTS ACCEPTS ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY.**\n\nONLINE ENTRY FEES: \n\n$55 Singles;\nDoubles – $55 per partner per event.\n\nEVENT LIMIT: 1 singles and 1 doubles; -OR- 2 doubles being 1 gender & 1 mixed/ special/ husband & wife doubles.\n\nFor scheduling purposes\, players who enter multiple divisions must enter at the SAME NTRP Level for each of those events.
